Sumi is a New York-based tattoo artist, illustrator, curator, and handcraft maker whose multidisciplinary practice spans illustration, textile, tattooing, and curating exhibitions.

Working primarily in fine-line black and grey, Sumi’s tattoos depict object-based storytelling and character-driven imagery that echo her illustration background.

Sumi is currently a resident artist at Vacation Forever in Manhattan, where she creates custom tattoos and personal flash. As a curator at A Space Gallery, she organizes group exhibitions and collaborative projects, often shaped by international open calls that foreground experimental and cross-disciplinary practices.
